Hello and welcome to the new blog for Mason & Madison.  I can’t believe it’s finally done!  I have been working on it for some time now, so long in fact (exactly 9 months), now that it is up… it feels like I’ve given birth to another child called THE BLOG!

To be honest, I wanted to have this blog up months ago… but between my obsessive, compulsive and perfectionist tendencies, I couldn’t rush it.  I knew everything had to be just right before I unveiled it.  Thank you to everyone who encouraged me, and showed so much patience and understanding until I launched it.  To you, I am grateful.

Why a blog, you may ask?  Well, I wanted something more than our traditional website.  A website is static.  It doesn’t change very often and quite honestly… it doesn’t reflect the experience you have when you come to Mason & Madison.

In the store, I interact with our customers… we have a conversation.  And I am able to tell the “story” behind each and every product we sell.  Not only the features and benefits, but WHY we carry it.  Customers who visit our store have an experience.  Through the blog, I want to re-create that experience, as closely as possible.

So the blog is the perfect complement to our website.  The website is there when you know what you want or need to re-order a particular product.  But when you need help finding the perfect gift– the blog is the place to go.  A place where I can tell you the “story” of a product and you can learn more about that product or service we offer, from the convenience of your own home.  It’s the place where I have my conversation with you.

So here we go. I hope you enjoy the Mason & Madison blog.
