Mason & Madison is pleased to announce our very first gift giveaway promotion, {The 12 Days of Christmas}. We have 12 fabulous items that we’re very excited to give away.  And we will be sprinkling in 12 items that we will offer a special deal on this holiday season. We will randomly select one winner per day for 12 days of the giveaway.

So, how can you get in on all this holiday fun?  It’s easy! You must become a fan of Mason & Madison on Facebook by “liking” our page.  Then just tag yourself in the photo of whatever item you like on any of our 12 Days of Christmas posts from 12/1/11 until Christmas Eve (December 24th, 2011).  Also, post a comment and tell us what you like about that item or who you would gift the item to and you’ll be automatically entered in a random drawing to win the prize.

As some of you may know… my obsession with all things old Hollywood is apparent in the store design.  I have always admired the glamour of Old Hollywood. When I was a kid I would watch old movies featuring the stars of the day, and I was struck by the style of ladies like Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly. The ladies in these movies are a reminder that glamour is always in style.

This holiday season I decided to celebrate the Glitz and Glam of classic Hollywood by creating an atmosphere of opulence and elegance in the store. Together with Rachel Hazelton of Rachel Hazelton Design Interiors, my original vision of a winter wonderland evolved into an old Hollywood Glamour theme featuring one my favorite icons, Marilyn.

Shimmery fabric, shocking red accents, lighting, and an array of textures like feathers, glass, and tulle… all highlighting framed pictures of the gorgeous star of yester-year will send you back in time to this beautiful era.  I hope you stop in this weekend, amidst the hustle and bustle of Black Friday and Cyber Monday to take a peek at the end result.
